Healthcare Automated Resource Protection System (HARPS) Support
DCS personnel perform security services and support for the Wilford Hall Ambulatory and Surgical Center and the Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph clinic, totaling more than 740,000 square feet of property. Combined, DCS employees are responsible for the protection of facilities and medical resources in excess of $520 million, as well as the safety of over 5,000 employees and 850,000 patients annually.
Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Access Control and Physical Security Support
DCS provides Armed Security Guards for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), safeguarding Information Technology resources utilized by the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. DCS employees provide top-notch physical security, visitor control, and access management 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year.
Air Education Training Command (AETC) Plans and Program Support Services
DCS analysts provide AETC with subject matter expertise in Operational Plans, Contingency Plans, Exercise Programs, Critical Asset Risk Management, and Operations Security, facilitating 12 major installations, 18 Wings, two Numbered Air Forces (NAFs), Air University, and the Air Force Recruiting Service. DCS analysts also plan National, Joint and Command-level exercises for 18 Wings and two NAFs, supporting 640 total exercises annually.
Air Education Training Command (AETC) Deployment Management Support
DCS staff consolidate and process deployment data on behalf of AETC, monitoring 4,600+ Unit Type Codes (UTC) from 19 subordinate units for timeliness and accuracy via classified SIPRNet. In support of deployed USAF personnel worldwide, DCS employees have thus far reviewed 3691 deployment taskings; resolved 1030 non-compliant issues; and processed 362 Deployed Team waivers.
US Air Force Business Process Support
DCS provides business process consultation, evaluation, and assessment support to the USAF Security Forces Center in addition to the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center. DCS analysts fill a vital role as the hub for all USAF Security Forces Directorate and Division strategy and planning efforts; in addition to conducting effective security readiness initiatives alongside operational and technical analyses.
Engineering Technician
DCS engineers facilitate the integration of operations centers for the US Air Force Security Forces Center by conducting on-site integration and operational checks of Mission Command systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality. DCS employees are overall responsible for the management, accountability, and sustainment of all operations center equipment, providing critical technical expertise and support.
Field Service Representative/Tactical Logistics Communications Specialist
DCS is charged with the management, accountability, and serviceability of USAF Security Forces weapons, systems, and equipment located at Fort Bliss, Moody Air Force Base, and multiple CONUS and OCONUS facilities. DCS employees are responsible for assessing, maintaining, and sustaining expeditionary weapons, systems, communications, and equipment utilized by Security Forces personnel deployed in support of combat operations.
Access Control & Nuclear Security System Programs
DCS employees manage the US Air Force Physical Access Control System safeguarding sensitive nuclear assets. Alongside two Access Control Officers, DCS provides a Nuclear Security Support Officer to facilitate command and control display systems, explosion detection equipment, access control systems, video surveillance systems, non-lethal weapons, and active/passive denial systems to support comprehensive and highly effective on-site security.
Pre-Deployment Training
DCS employees were instrumental in overhauling the pre-deployment training program for the US Air Force Security Forces. To date, the new curriculum includes over 40 critical training objectives and impacts over 30,000 Security Forces men and women.
Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS)
DCS was tasked with establishing the Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) Standard/Evaluation program in addition to developing new concepts of operation and employment. DCS Evaluators coordinated instruction, de-conflicted airspace, and integrated operational policy, guidance, and training. Under DCS, more than 175 SUAS operators successfully completed Mission Qualification Training.
Regional Training Center (RTC) Consolidation
The US Air Force selected DCS as the prime contractor for the consolidation of USAF RTCs. DCS conducted an in-depth analysis of Security Forces pre-deployment training requirements in addition to pre-deployment training capabilities for all Air Force installations and select Army posts. DCS successfully reduced RTC training locations by 75% through an innovative consolidation proposal personally approved by the Secretary of the Air Force and US Air Force Chief of Staff.
DoD Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Training
DCS has proven critical to Department of Defense (DoD) C-IED training, as to date, DCS employees have directly enabled and supported C-IED training for more than 19,000 USAF Security Forces personnel prior to combat deployments, 135,000 USAF trainees during Basic Military Training, and 2700 Military Working Dog (MWD) teams as part of the DoD MWD Program.
US Air Force Security Forces Pre-Deployment EOD/C-IED Training
DCS employees provided technical support, planning, consultation, analysis, and instruction relating to Explosive Ordnance Disposal and C-IED training for more than 19,000 USAF Security Forces personnel prior to combat deployments.
US Air Force Military Working Dog (MWD) Team Training
DCS was tasked with establishing and supporting the US Air Force’s MWD pre-deployment training program at Fort Bliss, Texas; training more than 60 MWD teams on 3,000 square miles of training area.
Cybersecurity and Physical Security - American Gas Association (AGA)
Under contract from the American Gas Association (AGA), DCS provided expert cybersecurity support and risk assessments regarding possible threats to the United States’ natural gas infrastructure. Cybersecurity analysis provided by DCS employees was also shared among federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, and Federal Bureau of Investigation in support of a shared defense against cybersecurity threats to the nation’s oil and gas subsector.
Logistics Deployment Support
DCS provided critical material management expertise in support of the USAF Security Forces Center and USAF Logistics Detachment by providing oversight and coordination of material management activities for mission-essential assets valued at more than $1.5 billion.
US Army Military Working Dog Courses
In response to the increased demand for Military Working Dog (MWD) teams in support of combat operations overseas, DCS employees established a 10-week MWD Handler Training Course and a 2-week Supervisor Course which provided training for eight Patrol Explosive Detector Dog (PEDD) teams and eight MWD supervisors, enabling the capability of off leash detection functions up to 75 meters.
US Air Force Security Forces Center Munitions Support
DCS managed ground munitions requirements, authorizations, forecasting, and allocations within the USAF Security Forces functional community consisting of 19 Major Commands globally. DCS enabled the annual weapons qualification of 92,000 Air Force personnel expending more than 82 million rounds of ammunition. Additionally, the US Air Force saved more than $317,165,000 as the result of 745,778 intra-service munitions transfers facilitated by DCS.
US Air Force Security Forces Center RTC Scheduling Support
DCS developed pre-deployment training schedules for the entirety of USAF Security Forces, to include Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard components. Efforts by DCS employees ensured that Combatant Command and USAF training priorities were met or exceeded, resulting in more than 1400 Security Forces personnel trained in support of 20 deployed locations throughout the Middle East.
502nd Air Base Wing Security Enhancements
DCS technicians completed numerous security upgrades to Headquarters building of the 502nd Air Base Wing. DCS technicians designed and installed a new closed camera system, new door access control system, and new electronic door strike system, effectively remaking the entire security apparatus of this critical facility.
Medical Support for US Air Force Security Forces Expeditionary Training
In concordance with the Department of Health and Human Services, DCS paramedics provided medical evacuation and on-site care capability for 10,000 students training on three distinct training areas spanning over 3,000 square miles, supporting Advanced Designated Marksmanship and Close Precision Engagement training.
